Knowledge required: Knots, Ascending and Descending on Snow, Walking in a rope, Use ice axe & crampon.
You necessarily do not require any experience of climbing, although exposure of high
altitude trekking is necessary. Knowledge and use of climbing gear will enhance your
enjoyment, comfort and ability. Moreover, we provide you with resources and guidance for
the summit.
Start jogging /running and work out on daily basis for at least a month before you climb.
If you are having high altitude trekking experience- just contact us ASAP and get booked for
climbing with us.

Climbing Itinerary:
Duration: 11- 12 days Most frequent Climbing Plan
Day 01: Arrival Manali
Day 02: A short trek around Manali.
Elevation: 1900m
Climbing grade: Easy
Day 03: Manali – Dhundhi.
From Manali drive 45minutes to reach Solang Nala, followed by a hike up to Dhundi.
Overnight in alpine tents.
Elevation: 3150m
Climbing grade: Easy
Day 04: Dhundhi – Bakarthach
Serene and endless alpine meadows stretch throughout the walk today! Reach Bakarthach,
the land of shepherds.
Elevation: 3600m
Climbing grade: Easy
Day 05: Bakerthatch
This day is reserved for acclimatization and practicing various techniques of ascending,
descending or self arresting practice on snow with techniques of using crampons on ice walls.
Elevation: 3600m
Climbing grade: Easy
Day 06: Bakarthach- Camp I
Today, 5 hours of climbing through slops and Glaciers moraines.
Elevation: 3900m
Climbing grade: Moderate to strenuous
Day 07: Camp I – Camp II
Today, climbers negotiate Slabs and Glacis for the day to gain and elevation of 5300m.
Elevation: 5300m
Climbing grade: Moderate to strenuous
Day 08: Camp II – Summit attempt
Today, climbers attempt the summit of Friendship Peak. This attempt involves ascending,
climbing and descending, with seven hours of Himalayan adventure!
Elevation: 5300m
Climbing grade: Moderate to strenuous
Day 09: Reserve day for summit.
Day 10: Descend to Dhundi
Day 11: Back to Manali
Day 12: Back to Delhi/ Chandigarh
