Introduction:
Kullu valley, nestled in the lap of mighty Himalaya, derives its name from word “Kulant Peeth”, meaning “end of the habitable world”. Commencing from Manali, embark the Adventure to explore Beas Kund Glacier area, crowned by mighty snow capped peaks and amazing Himalayan topography.
The trek commences from a village Solang, near Manali ascends along through alpine meadows, gushing streams, rivers; the grazing ground of shepherds. Gaining the elevation on day one, the following day continue along gushing Beas River, offering access to enter the Beas Kund glacial area and as it marks its boundary with boulders and moraine fields! Next day cross the moraine fields to enter the ‘Himalayan Wonderland’ studded with climbing peak Hanuman Tibba, Rocky Challenger, Laddakhi Peak, Shetidhar and many more.
Day fourth is reserved for height gaining to Camp I of Ladakhhi Peak, enjoy panoramic views of the peaks draped in white. For evening, hike down to Beas Kund Camp and following day concluding your Himalayan Adventure hike down to Solang and drive to Manali for late afternoon.
Detailed itinerary:
Day 01: Manali – Solang – Dhundi
Arrive, Manali early morning, post breakfast, after detailed briefing of the entire program, drive to Solang and hike up to Dhundi. The acclimatizing walk passes on the restricted section of ambitious Rothang Tunnel project along Beas River to reach the Campsite at Dhundi. En route, stop for lunch on the meadows of Solang valley well known for its scenic views and winter sports. The village of Solang at the base of Patalsu peak will be an enchanting site.

Day 02: Dhundi – Bakarthach
Today after breakfast, follow the tiny path, negotiating streams, crossing dangling bridges of the narrow valley to reach Bakarthach. As we ascend the valley the gigantic glaciers and close views of towering peaks enthralls the route. Reach Camp Bakarthach for early evening. Enjoy the views of sun setting behind golden mountains.

Day 03: Bakarthach – Beas Kund
Today tie your boots tight and embark on an adventurous day hike to Beas Kund. The hike is an inclusion of Height Gaining, negotiating Moraine and Glacier with the stunning view of Indrasan and Deo Tibba!

Day 04: Beas Kund – Camp I Laddakhi, Rocky Challenger and Shetidhar Peak 4750 m -Beas Kund
After breakfast, fill your lungs for the height gaining hike up to the Camp I for Laddakhi, Rocky Challenger and Shetidhar peaks. The hike ascends initially on narrow ridge offeringn stunning views of Hanuman Tibba 5995 m. Continue up crossing snow-bridge and finally up on a long ridge to reach the massive Riagarh glacier. From here Hanuman Tibba II, a virgin peak of Dhauladhar range comes face to face. Imbibing magnificent views enjoy a well deserved packed lunch and descend down to Beas Kund for evening.

Day 05: Beas Kund – Bakarthach – Dhundi – Solang – Manali
Bidding goodbye to the Mountain Gods, today descend down Solang and drive to Manali.
