Giri Ganga Camps

Day 01: Shimla – Theog – Khara Patthar – GHO Giri Ganga Camps

Arrive Shimla, get transferred to Khara Patthar (driving duration: 03 hours), enjoy a 04 km of excellent hike through thick coniferous forest to reach GHO Giri Ganga Camps. Based by the banks of Giri Ganga stream, ample space at the camp allows you to enjoy live music around a crackling bonfire. Post dinner overnight in tents. (Option of driving up to the camp too)

Day 02: GHO Giri Ganga Camps – Kuppar – GHO Giri Ganga Camps.

In the morning, after breakfast enjoy a lovely hike (03 hours) to the top of Kuppar peak (3225 m). This excellent hike passes through thick forest along Giri Ganga stream and suddenly an expanse of meadows rises up to Kupar. The panoramic views of snow – capped Kinnaur and Grawhal Himalaya exictes the traveler. The pace of steps accelerates on the fresh snow to reach the top. Here, enjoy a well deserved packed lunch. Later, hike down for early evening to the camp.

At the camp enjoy a live musical night with bonfire and post dinner overnight in tents.

Day 03: GHO Giri Ganga Camps – Khara Patthar –Narkanda – Shimla

Today, after a leisure breakfast, wrapping up your Himalayan memories, drive back to Shimla. The drive passes through the mountain ridgeline, offering an peek into the rural Shimla, with apple trees loaded with blossoms. Reach Narkanda, the place use to be a famous stopover on famous Old Hindustan Tibet Road, when Shimla was the British Summer Capital of India. Post lunch at Narkanda, drive to Shimla
