The Ridgeline Trek Shimla New

Day 01: Shimla – Mashobra – Thaila (Riverside) – Devla Camp Driving duration: 45 minutes

Hiking duration: 05 – 06 hours

 In morning post breakfast drive 45 min. to Mashobra, starting point of the trek. Hike down Mashobra valley to Thaila Riverside, enjoy packed lunch here.

Ascend through meadows to reach Devla camp for early evening. Arrive camp, after tea and coffee, enjoy bonfire, live music and post dinner overnight in alpine tents.

Day 02: Devla – Shali Peak – Shali Ghat Camp    Hiking duration: 05 – 06 hours

In the morning post breakfast, hike up to Shali peak, from here enjoy 360 degrees panoramic views of Western Himalayan Range and Punjab Plains. Spend quality time here getting information from your guide about the mountain system. Post lunch, hike down to Shali Ghat and camp in the wilderness for the night.

Day 03: Shali Ghat Camp – Dalohghati Camp  Hiking duration: 04 – 05 hours

Today the trail advances gradually through a thick coniferous forest offering views of Mashobra (starting point of the trek), valleys dotted with tiny villages and nearby mountain ranges. We arrive to Dalohghati Camp for early evening.

Day 04: Dalohghati Camp – Nanni Eagle’s Eye Camp  Hiking duration: 05 – 06 hours

After a leisure breakfast we continue our ridgeline hike offering distant views of mountains and numerous villages scattered down valleys. Passing through thick forests and few temples on the mountain passes, we finally arrive at above Nanni village at our Eagle’s Eye Camp.

Day 05: Nanni Eagle’s Eye Camp – Kamlodi Top – Ekantvatika – Shimla  Hiking duration: 05 – 06 hours

Today after breakfast, we continue over the trails which once use to be the highways connecting one valley with another and almost deserted now.

The trail ascends up to the summit of Kamlodi top and the concluding descend brings us to Ekantvativa (Narkanda) for early evening. Concluding our trek here, we drive back to Shimla for evening.Overnight at hotel.
